Hi, I'm Adam Joseph

I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve been the CEO working harder than everyone else in the building – or at least feeling that when when you are the one turning on and off the lights. I’ve lived the struggle to scale from $10M to $100M (more than once after making quick work from 0-$5M growth. I’ve had to make the hard call to replace team members who weren’t pulling their weight even when I liked them personally and respected their expertise. And I’ve been brought in by investors to augment founders and scale companies to position for exit.

But don’t get me wrong. I’ve made mistake and missed windows of opportunity. I want to help you avoid the same ones I made. Over 30+ years, I’ve been a five-time VC/PE-funded CEO and two-time Fortune 100 executive. I’ve participated in over $11 billion in exits including Concur’s sale to SAP, Platinum’s sale to Computer Associates, Cybertrust’s sale to Verizon, and MIPS IPO and later sale to Silicon Graphics.

It all began when I bootstrapped my first software company, AIB Software, in my mid-20s and sold it four years later for 100x my cash investment and a 10x return for my investors. Over the past 33 years, I’ve led companies as both a CEO and senior executive across industries including cyber security, enterprise software, travel technology, and real estate technology. I built and sold three private businesses, helped drive landmark enterprise software deals, and navigated nearly every challenge growth-stage leaders encounter. Those decades gave me not only the wins, but also the scars — and the wisdom that comes from both.

Today, my focus is on leadership coaching. I work side-by-side with growth-stage CEOs and their teams to sharpen vision and strategy, drive execution and accountability, and strengthen talent and culture. My role isn’t to hand down answers, but to help leaders see clearly, act decisively, and build momentum with integrity.

Grounded in values of caring, curiosity, discipline, challenge, lifelong learning, and fun, I bring the perspective of someone who has lived the executive journey and now dedicates himself to guiding others through it.
